On 20 May 2004 the deputy RF Minister of economical development and trade Andrey Sharonov presented to the RF Government a project of a federal law "On introducing amendments to the Federal law "On licensing certain activities".
Why and what for?
According to the Government information department, the law provides for the cut of the number of activities to be licensed and licensing order optimization in respect to:
- Specifying the order of defining authority on licensing;
- Simplifying the procedures of getting and reregistering a license;
- Protecting rights of economics subjects, and
- Ensuring transparency and accessibility of information on licensing bodies.
