Mediterranean Shipping Company General Rate Increase for Far East Destinations November 2010

Dear Customers and Partners, 

MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company would like to kindly inform the trade that in view of the strong demand for space and equipment from Europe to Asia a General Rate Increase (GRI) will be adopted of

  • USD 100 per 20’ container 
  • USD 100 per 40’ container

as from November the 1st 2010 ( Bill of lading date) .

The rate increase will be applied from all Origins in Europe: NWC, UK, Scandinavia, the Baltic Region, W.Med, E. Med and Black Sea, on all cargoes (included the waste products such as paper, plastics etc..) to all destinations in China , Korea, Japan , South East Asia.

Further information about these increases can be obtained from Mediterranean Shipping Company's local Agency Offices.
