The member Lines of the Europe /East Africa , North Europe/Djibouti Europe/Sudan Container Lines Agreement (ESCLA) have to advise that, in view of recent developments in the USA, they have been advised by their underwriters that additional War Risk insurance premiums will soon be imposed for vessels calling at or transiting certain specified ports and areas. Details of the precise terms and costs are not yet available, but underwriters have warned that the increases will be imposed at little or no notice.
