Eurosib SPb Ltd., one of the largest r/r operators in Russia, and the Ust-Luga JSC, constructing the port of Ust-Luga, have signed a cooperation agreement.
The Agreement presupposes joint work on attracting investment in the port of Ust-Luga and the development of transport forwarding infrastructure.
Special attention is to be paid to the technology, combining the use of Eurosib SPb rolling stock and the infrastructure objects.

August 17, 2001, Sergey Frank, Transport Minister of the Russian Federation, met in Moscow Zigmantas Balcitis, Transport and Communications Minister of the Lithuanian Republic.
The ministers exchanged views of the state and prospects of Russian-Lithuanian relations in the transport sphere talking into account prior agreements.
One of the central issues in the Russian-Lithuanian transport cooperation is ensuring efficient operations in Klaipeda and the ports of Kaliningrad region in the framework of the so-called 2K Project, the 2 Ks standing for Klaipeda and Kaliningrad.
The working group of the Kaliningrad and Klaipeda port authorities has held two session which defined the spheres of mutual interests and discussed navigation safety, cooperation in rescue operations at sea, ecological and humanitarian projects, and the international 2K Project Managing Committee.

Today ECT and P&O Nedlloyd have reached agreement to develop a new container terminal in Rotterdam: EuroMax, a 50–50 joint venture, will become operational early 2004.
The new terminal will be developed and operated on a site, adjacent to the crude oil terminal MOT, in the most north western part of the Maasvlakte.
