Brazil Releases Reefer After Collision

The captain of the Bahamas-registered, Latvian-operated reefer ship Roko, which ran into a small fishing boat in October, killing eight divers, has been cleared of any wrongdoing by the Brazilian maritime authorities, reports Fairplay. Vladimir Gruseiuskis and his crew were released 11 days after the 3,955-gt vessel hit the Costa Azul in Guanabara Bay, near Niteroi.
