First Lastochka Train in St. Petersburg

24 January 2013, 18:15 / SeaNews / Liudmila Mazyarkina Rating: 1565

SeaNews took a trip on the first Lastochka train from St. Petersburg to Novgorod and back. The photo report is below.

Bright modern design is not the only attractive feature that was to impress the first passengers. In addition to comfortable seats, large windows and electronic board showing the stations and the speed of the trains, there are electric sockets and places to keep your sports gear. The train is fitted out to suit physically handicapped people. During the trips, passengers are served tea, coffee and snacks. However, there is no dining car and no drop tables to place the refreshments served. No Wi-Fi, which is disappointing, but maybe it will materialize later. Announcements are in Russian and English, so Welcome on board.
