In 2012 the Big Port of St. Petersburg handled 2.5 mn TEU, a 7% plus year-on-year. The best month was October, while January and February saw the deepest decline. 

Compared to 2011 statistics, almost all the feeder operators working in St. Petersburg decreased carryings. There are small changes in the St. Petersburg Top 5 market leaders.
