It is scheduled to put the multifunctional handling complex Yug-2 in the port of Uts-Luga into operation in August of the current year, announced general director of Company Ust-Luga, JSC Igor Rusu.
It is planned that the complex will begin with Ro-Ro cargo handling.
In September 2007 the company wants to set the first stage of the terminal to handle sulfur.
The liquid bulk cargo complex will be opened in the first quarter of 2009.
Besides, according to I.Rusu, Company Ust-Luga and SIBUR signed an agreement on the building of the terminal to handle liquefied hydrocarbon gas.

Commercial Seaport of St Petersburg and Severstaltrans, a major stockholder in the port's First Container Terminal, are planning a network of container terminals and regular block trains between St Petersburg and Vostochny.
According to Igor Rusu, Commercial Seaport of St Petersburg’s director general, construction of a railway box terminal in Moscow begins in August, with a draft network programme to be developed by October.
Moscow terminal’s capacity would be 40,000-50,000 TEU per annum.
