Transport week Ц 2011

In 2011 “Transport week” will be taking place for the fifth time. Each previous event has made a positive impact on the progressive development of the transport systems of Russia and other countries. Every year the event is seeing increasing demand as a platform for strengthening cooperation, discussion of the topics of the state importance, and taking decisions that define priorities for the largest transport and industrial companies.

V Anniversary international forum “Transport of Russia” will become the focal event of the “Transport week”. In the letter addressed to the guests and participants of the forum, President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev pointed out the importance of the event. The President noted that “Transport week - 2011” facilitates modernization of the industry and enhancement of the international cooperation.

“Transport week - 2011” has a unique format and comprises industry’s biggest and most important business and cultural events, such as: V Anniversary international forum “Transport of Russia” that includes plenary session “Transport of Russia: safety and ecology”, conferences on various topics in the areas of railway and automobile transport, air, marine and river transport, V Anniversary international exhibition “Transport of Russia”, International congress “ROAD TRAFFIC RUSSIA – 2011. Organization of road traffic in the Russian Federation”, International road congress “Innovations in road infrastructure”, regional conference ICAO on air safety.

“Transport week - 2011” is organized by the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation, operator of the event is “Business Dialogue”, and information operator is the official publishing body of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation – newspaper “Transport of Russia” (Publishing House “Dorogi”).

This year “Transport week - 2011” is taking place on 21-25th November in the grounds of EcoCenter “Sokolniki”. The event will be attended by more than three thousand delegates among which are representatives of the authority bodies, Russian and foreign businesses, science and education, and public organizations.
