A new container terminal of PetroLesPort JSC is to be put into operation in late 2005, Dmitry Vasiliev, the head of the Port of Hamburg representative office in Russia told SeaNews. HHLA and PetroLesPort are realizing the project on the territory of the port. In 2005 the terminals are to be equipped with the Ship-to-Shore cranes.

ExxonMobil set to 'take actions' in Sakhalin dispute: spokesman ExxonMobil is prepared to "take actions to protect our interests" if the Russian Federation re-tenders the Sakhalin-3 development project as part of a planned limitation on international company interest in upstream investments in that country to less than 50%, a spokesman for the US-based major said Thursday. The spokesman, in response to questions about the impact of the latest announcement by a senior Russian official that foreign investments in developments would be limited, said that the company, along with ChevronTexaco, has "a legal tender for Sakhalin (Sakhalin-3) going back to 1993.
