July 5, 2007 TransContainer, and Chinese "Container transportation corporation" have signed a letter of intent, which improves container pool mutual exploitation.
During the talks between the companies, it was decided to form a complete trains stocks at the border crossing Manchuria - Zabaikalsk.
The Chinese stocks of 35 railway cars (70 TEU) will be arriving at Manchuria PSC station and then transferred to the Russian track with the enlarged stock of 57 cars.

The icebreaker "Krasin" left the port of Vladivostok on August 12, 2004 to escort ships to the ports of Pevek, Schmidt, and the port points in the eastern Artic sector.
As the press service Far Eastern Shipping Co, which operates the icebreaker, informs, the "Krasin" is expected to enter the North-Eastern Passage on August 22.
As the FESCO press service reports, the icebreaker will assist freight ships to supply the regions with the limited navigation period with consumer goods, fuel and equipment.

Vyborg-based Renaissance Maritime Agency has announced a fortnightly Rotterdam-Vyborg service, operated by Renaissance Container Line (RCL).
The 120TEU Lemo will make its first call at Vyborg on September 19, carrying 54 containers of frozen meat, equipment, construction materials and consumer goods to mostly Vyborg-based consignees.
