January 18 the m/t "Pavel Chernysh" loaded a millionth ton of oil at the port of De-Castri, reports PRISCO press service.
Since the first shipping of Sakhalin produced oil had been loaded on November 16, 2006, PRISCO's tankers carried 1mn tons.

The FESCO-managed icebreakers "Admiral Makarov" and "Krasin" has started escorting tankers in the Tartar Strait under the Sakhalin-1 project.
On Sunday December 24 the m/t "Pavel Chernysh" was escorted to the port of De-Castri, and the 105,000-dwt m/t "Yury Senkevich" - from De-Castri.

The first oil shipment under the Sakhalin-1 project has been loaded at the port of De-Castri on board PRISCO's m/t "Viktor Titov".
According to Yury Sinev, Director of PRISCO (Sakhalin), the tanker took on board 100 thousand tons of crude and left De-Castri according to the schedule at 16.15 local time on October 16.
"Viktor Titov" is one of the 3 ice-strengthened 1A-class tankers built by PRISCO in accordance with the contract.
After unloading at Kawasaki the tanker will return to De-Castri for a new load of crude.
