Arkhangelsk Commercial Sea Port JSC has taken first consignments of export coking coal, delivered by rail cars to the port area Economia from Cherepovets.
According to the port's chief dispatching office, the port is to receive further r/w consignments of 5,000 t of coking coal from Cherepovets and Nizhniy Tagil, and 15,000 t of anthracite from Novosibirsk in coming days.

Items on the agenda include: approval of the company’s annual report, the annual balance sheet (including the statement of revenues and losses, 2001 revenues distribution); approval of the company’s revised Charter; approval of the Statute of the Board, the Statute of Director General; nomination of the auditor; nomination of the company’s Board, the revision and accounts commissions.
The ACSP major shareholders are the Administration of Arkhangelsk Oblast (20%), the Ministry of state property (20%), Norilsk Nickel and JSC Northern Shipping Co.

Seaport administration of Groningen (Holland) expressed its interest towards the purchase of 20% of Arkhangelsk Sea Trade Port JSC shares, owned by the Arkhangelsk regional authorities in order to reinforce business connections, to increase the cargo turnover and to develop both ports from the economic point of view.
As the general director of the Arkhangelsk Sea Trade Port JSC Sergey Kravchenko communicated, the administration would sell this share holding via the investment contest only.
