A pipeline used to unload ships at the port of Vancouver ruptured on Tuesday, a geyser oil shooting 40 feet in the air before it was plugged, witnesses and local media reported. The accident along the Burrard Inlet in Burnaby, British Columbia, near Vancouver was apparently caused by construction equipment, and forced officials to evacuate a number of nearby houses. There were no reports of injuries, but the were was concern that the oil could flow downhill to the water.

The Russian business companies are interested in the Serbian transport facilities of the state ownership - in ports, air fields, terminals and warehouses, - and want to privatize them, reports Prime-TASS quoting Igor Levitin, the head of the RF Ministry of transport. According to Prime-TASS, during the talks of I.Levitin and Velimir Ilich, the Serbian Ministry of capital investment it was decided that the whole list of the companies to be privatized will be given to the Russian companies hereby they could take part in tenders.
