11 July during the conference of the Maritime Board under the government of Russia the first vice-premier Sergey Ivanov said that the Black Sea basin's ports handle more than 33% of overall cargo turnover of the Russian ports a year.
Also he said that it is necessary to double these ports capacities by 2010 because "Cargo turnover of the Black Sea basin's ports, even according to the conservative forecasts, will exceed 200 mln.

Spain intends to take part in the development of transport infrastructure of Russia, or to be more exact - in the building and working of the chargeable road network, reports RIA Novosti quoting Mario Buisan, general director of information and investment of Spain Institute of international trade.
Russia and Spain will jointly build roads Moscow - Minsk and Moscow - Saint-Petersburg, as well as the west section of road infrastructure of Saint-Petersburg.
It should be pointed out that in May of the current year Sergey Ivanov, the RF senior vice-premier, announced that drivers would have an opportunity to choose between the chargeable road and free one.
